Jennifer Koerber is an independent trainer and speaker on emerging technologies, the social web, usability in a library setting, and staff development. She is a selfhacked techsavvy librarian, and has observed how people interact with technology for nearly 20 years as a children’s librarian, reference librarian, library branch manager, web services librarian, and public training curriculum coordinator. She earned her MSLIS from Simmons College in 1998 and worked for the Boston Public Library for 17 years. She has written several articles on library innovation and professional development for Library Journal and The Digital Shift, and coauthored the book Emerging Technologies: a Primer for Librarians with Michael P.
